O’s Notes: Eternal Moments is the latest release from Japanese pianist, composer, and vocalist Yoko Yates. She is accompanied by Jamie Baum (fl), Sam Sadigursky (woodwinds), Aryeh Kobrinsky (b) and Jeff Hirshfield (d). The compositions are cohesive, with a peaceful theme that flows through the entire album. “Winter Calls”, “Spirits of the Night”, “Forgotten Paradise” and “Winding River” are some of the best selections.
