O’s Notes: Swimming By Moonlight is a another (the 3rd) documentation of trumpeter, vocalist Chet Baker from the 1988 documentary Let’s Get Lost. It is previously unreleased material from the final years of Baker’s life. This is vintage Baker in full effect. Highlights are “Quiet Nights” with guitarist Ricardo Silveira, “Relaxin’”, “Just Friends” with scintillating flute from Nicola Stilo, and “Milestones”.
