O’s Notes: This is a marriage of musical genres blending classical music of the old world colored with blues and contemporary American music. The theme is an evolving musical journey depicting the saga of slavery in America. It takes us through the pains, rage and confusion. There are doses of African beats, spoken words and some pumping disco bass, all with blue tones. It’s a telling musical orchestration.
