O’s Notes: These are ten swinging classic ballads with large ensembles in both big band (brass) and string orchestra formats. Mary vocals accent the strong performance form the bands, notably on the title track. The featured soloists do a good job, especially guitarists Ron Jackson on “Round Midnight” and “Marvin Horne” on “Save Your Love For Me”.
