O’s Notes: Aaron plays alto sax. He gets help from Rich Perry on tenor sax and his rhythm section of Ryan Scott (g), Matt Clohesy (b) and Greg Ritchie (d). They play eight tunes, both standards and Aaron’s originals. The latter have a fusion bent both racy like “Fumes” and relaxed “The Point”. We also enjoyed their cool cover of Cole Porter’s “So In Love”. Overall there is a blue tone with a wealth of improvisation led by the brass. A good set.
