O’s Notes: Dan plays the B3 and his sound is cool, naturally. Guitarist O’Donel Levy, drummer Webb Thomas and Pete Chavez join him on sax. Together they are cooking up some great jazz like “Broadway” and “A Night In Tunisia”. But they also take it down a notch on “Willow Weep For Me” where Fogel makes the organ cry against the sultry blues sax tones from Chavez. While these are all classics, they are done well enough to warrant repeated listening.
