O’s Notes: Jody has a gentle theatrical voice with clear articulation. She sounds good out in front of the band whether with piano accompaniment or with the full trio. She’s got a sense of swing that melds nicely with the band on “Deed I Do”. The program is a series of standards colored with her signature including “Get Out of Town” with its vamp feel and pleasant tunes like “Relax”.
