O’s Notes: Pianist Danny Green is fascinated with jazz, Latin and classical music. A Thousand Ways Home is his attempt to combine all three genres with his own signature. All of the compositions and arrangements are original and green employs a strong musical team to support him with bassist Justin Grinnell and drummer Julien Cantelm playing on all selections. Danny’s music comes together nicely in a presentation that has broad appeal and a lot of positive energy. Among the best selections are “Unwind”, “Quintal da Solidão” featuring Claudia Villela’s rich vocals and “Running Out of Time”.
