O’s Notes: Pianist Spike Wilner invites bassist Tyler Mitchell and drummer Anthony Pinciotti to form his Trio. They open with the upbeat “Righty-O!” featuring each of the energetic band members. Aliens & Wizards is a bouncy, swinging set with Wilner dancing across the keyboard. There’s a spiritual, bluesy feel on “Prayer For Peace”, an energetic swing on “Trick Baby” and a taste of free jazz on the title track.
