O’s Notes: An Evening With John Petrucci & Jordan Rudess is a live performance in June 2000, They are a guitarist and pianist respectively from to group Dream Theater. Hints of bossa nova surface on “Hang 11” and Latin influence is pervasive throughout the set based on John’s guitar work. Jordan’s piano on “From Within” sounds like a classical harp as he dashes across the ivory. They trade, lead and rhythms seamlessly making the music flow well. musicianship is easily appreciated in this duo performance.
