O’s Notes: Interstatic is a trio featuring guitarist Jacob Young, Roy Powell on the Hammond and drummer Jarle Vespestad. Six of the nine compositions were written by Powell and the remainder by Young. The music is rock fusion. Electronic distortion plays a large part without overwhelming listeners. It is edgy and provocative, ready to challenge your imagination. “Wonderfall” is the best of the lot.
