O’s Notes: Tom’s vocals remind are jovial and free flowing, perfectly suited for the accompanying samba rhythms. He writes lyric and rearranges many popular tunes like Metheny’s “For Better Days Ahead” and Ashford & Simpson’s “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”. Tom blends words and scatting together in a unique melodic fashion that is very appealing. The resulting music falls across Latin, Pop, Jazz and world music formats. We found it quite palatable!
