O’s Notes: Veteran guitarist Doug MacLeod gives us a dose of blues, soul, humor, and some of his lessons learned along the way! Paul Ossola (b), Mark T. Jordan (keyboards), and Lynn Williams (d, perc) are the primary band members. The Shoals Sisters add harmony vocals on three selections notably “Roll Like A River”. Producer Andreas Werner plays acoustic guitar on two selections. Our favorites are “Between Somewhere and Goodbye”, “Memphis In Your Soul”, “One Rib Short”, and “I Ain’t No Stranger”.
