O’s Notes: Courtney Freed is a Portland-based writer and vocalist with an expressive voice. Big Crazy Love is a collection of eleven romantic songs. The majority of the tunes have a jazzy pop, country bent. Six are originals with five covers including the bossa nova beats of “No More Blues” and “What a Difference a Day Makes”, both featuring guitarist Hamody Hindi.
