O’s Notes: Saxophonist Jim Snidero leads a straight-ahead band, his first time playing in a saxophone trio format on Bird Feathers. He is joined by bassist Peter Washington and drummer Joe Farnsworth. The program consists of tunes composed of performed by Charlie Parker. “Scrapple From The Apple”, “These Foolish Things” and “Lover Man” are some of the high notes in Snidero’s tribute to his idol.
