O’s Notes: This is a collection of warm, romantic ballads featuring pianist Shelly Berg, Gregg Field (d) and Chuck Berghofer (b). Their delivery is outspoken with a mature sense of poise. You will get the point without being offended. In fact you will be absorbed into the music with a sense of pleasure. Among the twelve songs are jazzy arrangements of the Beatles “Blackbird”, Metheny’s “Question And Answer” and Shelly’s own “Hot It Up”. They really swing.
