O’s Notes: Composer Alec Wilder wrote music that rested either on chamber and popular music formats. He also wrote a large amount of material that fell in between which have been picked up by several jazz musicians. Bob handles sax and Marten Lundgren plays trumpet. The rhythm section is Kasper Villaume (p), Marc Davis (b) and Karsten Bagge (d), a tight unit. The arrangements by Rockwell are very pleasing. The music serves as a great backdrop for any upbeat occasion.
