O’s Notes: 61-year-old Hendrik Meurkens plays harmonica and teams up with 62-year-old pianist Bill Cunliffe for“Cabin In The Sky. They are both polished musicians who have been creating magical sounds for decades and they work well together. They made these recordings on June 26, 2015 and April 1, 2016. We’re happily enjoying the 2018 release. They include strings on “Afternoon” but the other ten selections are duets highlighted by “Invitation”, “Speak Low”, “Wave” and “Ode To Billie Joe”.
