O’s Notes: Jimmy Crockett (vocals & keyboards) teams up with guitarist Jerry Jennings to bring us ten sizzling popular blues vocals. Jerry’s liquid guitar solos marry well with Jimmy’s lyrics especially on “Stand On You” and “Betty’s Song”. Among the best tunes are the rocking funky “Long Lonely Winter”, “She’s Still Comin’ Back” and “Policeman”. Crockett writes all of the music and lyrics drawing on his past as a gambler at times. The formula works as we find ourselves fully engaged along the way. Cadillac Man is a trip back to the 1970s and it is worth reminiscing!
