O’s Notes: Pete plays trumpet and has potential to be one of the premier players on the jazz scene despite many challenges along the way. He gets support from world-class musicians including Luis Perdomo on piano and percussionist Robert Quintero. Pete is equally adept blitzing through bop tunes as mesmerizing us on warm ballads. His tone is sweet and absent of ear piercing bite. Pete also composed most of the music on Caminando Con Papi. Yes, Señor Rodriguez has all of the tools to persist!
