O’s Notes: From the opening notes we knew this wasn’t an ordinary Holiday album! The big band is bursting with energy, perfect for the jovial season. Everett Greene adds his baritone vocals on seven of the dozen classics breaking the monotony of all instrumentals. We particularly liked him on “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and “The Christmas Song” where Greene split the melody with Brent Wallarab (tb). If you want to enjoy a swinging, dynamic big band mastering the carols, look no further!
