O’s Notes: Lynn leads a piano trio here with drummer E.J. Strickland and bassist Jasper Somsen. She opens with a firm command of the keys on “Sometimes I Feel Like A Motherless Child”, one of two covers to go with eight originals. They pick up the pace on “Journey”, add a great drum solo on “Reunion”, and invite guest vocalist K.J. Denhert for two selections. We also enjoyed “The Whole Truth”. Chimes of Freedom is yet another lively performance from Arriale with a theme based on racial equality and social justice.
