O’s Notes: New York-based clarinetist and vocalist Kristen Mather de Andrade makes music that is festive, lively and rich with some Latin/Mediterranean/Brazilian flair. Brass accents and occasional warm vocals keep it lively. The combinations of clarinet, with accordion from Vitor Gonçalves, bass (Eduardo Belo) and pandeiro (Sergio Krakowski) are the exact blend to make Kristen’s debut scintillating.
