O’s Notes: Parallel Mind is William Kopecky (b), Nibandh Nadkarni (keyboards) and Joe Babiak (d). They are well synchronized in their music that is rock-based jazz. The songs use electronics for fullness but it flows smoothly. The beats are syncopated and racy. Among the best are “Opposite Of Know”, “The Guardian” and “Casa De Jig”. Though it isn’t our usual cup of tea, the more we listened, the more we liked it!
