O’s Notes: This is the second release from the Berklee college graduates, pianist, bandleader Pier Luigi Salami, drummer Shawn Crowder and bassist Martin Fowler. They play their own electronic, contemporary jazz centered around Salami. Despite the title Cosmonauts is mostly down to earth with ten refreshing selections ranging from pulsating club music like “What For” to the relaxing finale “Nessus Dorma”.
