O’s Notes: Doug sings and plays acoustic guitar. He opens the set with a song that shows his gospel and country influences. They resonate throughout the CD, a series of libations that are warm and meaningful. Doug reigns from Tennessee and he comes with a heartfelt of soul that surfaces in his music. There’s a strong dose of ragtime on “Baby If You’re Lyin'”. There are eleven songs in all; music that takes you back yet brings you forward at the same time.
