O’s Notes: Monkey House is a Toronto based jazz rock band founded by Canadian keyboardist, vocalist, composer Don Breithaupt in 1992 with a sound like Steely Dan. Their patented combination of jazz harmony with pop vocals is still powerful, and appealing to a wide audience. The veterans Justin Abedin (g), Pat Kilbride (b), and Mark Kelso (d) are surrounded by many guest artists including vocalists Michael Dunston and Selena Evangeline. Crashbox has great tunes, notably “Return Of The Mayfly”, “Someplace On Madison”, and “What’s Left Of This World”.
