O’s Notes: This is a syncopated traipse through the tropical forests. Cuban pianist Edsel Gomez flutters across the keys like the birds darting between the trees. The rest of the landscape is filled in nicely by David Sanchez (sax), Greg Tardy (sax), Don Byron (cl), Steve Wilson (fl), bassist Drew Gress and drummer Bruce Cox. It comes together in peaceful fashion, much like the harmony that exists in nature.
