O’s Notes: Steve plays bass along with most other instruments on this recording as well. Clark really shines on bass, whether rounding the tones with a wah-wah or with the 8 bass tracks dubbed into the title track. He plays an old school R&B groove, updated with 21st century contemporary beats. There is no questioning an abundance of talent here and it is put to good use according to our ears.
