O’s Notes: These are traditional New Orleans blues led by White on clarinet. The pace ranges from up beat to sleepy blues. The program remains true to the New Orleans jazz venue with marching beats and a melodic sense of swing with ragtime piano and melodic reeds. There is even a rousing blues vocal performance from Thais Clark on “Angel In The Day”. All of the program material is freshly composed by White and delightful for fans of this type music.
