O’s Notes: This is the debut recording for New York vocalist Naama Gheber and she starts off with a bang! She’s a well-articulated Broadway cabaret singer with warm, silky vocals that spill over a dozen freshly arranged classics. David Wong (b), Ray Gallon (p) and Aaron Kimmel (d) provide excellent support with special guest Steve Nelson adding another layer of depth on several tracks, notably “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love”. Naama shares the stage with her band and they all shine making this an entertaining set.
