O’s Notes: DRMS is an Oakland, CA based octet featuring vocalist Emily Ritz. Their sound is a jazzy pop mix anchored by keyboardist Rob Sheldon with Andrew Maguire (vibes), Jesse Cafiero (b) and Jake Nochimow (d). The sound has an element of mystery and intrigue that is inviting. This self-titled debut has sparks of brightness that show promise and we anticipate the follow-up.
