O’s Notes: San Francisco-based guitarist, composer Mason Razavi forms a quartet with Charles McNeal (sax), Brian Ho (organ), and Jason Lewis (d). They work well as a unit with McNeil, Ho, and Razavi sharing the melodies throughout the set. We like the mellow “From Thoughts To Words”, “Renew”, the upbeat “Bronze Boxer”, and the romance on “Beautiful Love” & “Love For Sale”.
