O’s Notes: This is a rather unusual project using real excerpts from Internet dating services as lyrics. Urie marries that poetic reality with music that parallels the words. The brassy big band includes Jeremy Udden (sax), Jeff Clausen (t) and Frank Carlberg (p) among a talented crew. Christine Correa delivers all of the vocals, strange messages from people in need. There are also a few of pure instrumentals. Urie does a great job marrying the words with the music.
