O’s Notes: Smooth jazz pianist Patrick Bradley composed a set of eleven songs meant to ease the pain of 2020. While we’re late reviewing it, the same can be said for 2021 and into 2022. We all need to Exhale. As always, Bradley invites a strong team including Darren Rahn (sax, keys), Allen Hinds (g), Mel Brown (b) and Tarell Martin (d). Jeff Lorber (keyboards), Dave Weckl (d) and Rick Braun (t, tb) make special appearances. Highlights are “Song Of May”, “Sip’ In The Breeze”, “Meant To Be” and the title track. Hopefully we’ll breath better soon.
