O’s Notes: Some would say Antonia is a hopeless romantic, but we say that she sings passionate ballads as a storyteller. Expressions is her latest endeavor backed by a strong band including Christian Jacob (keyboards), Larry Koonse (g), Kevin Axt (b), Kendall Kay (d). The 13 songs are wholesome and romantic. Guests David Thomas sings background on “Wherever You Go” and Randy Brecker adds shadowing trumpet on “Hushabye Mountain”.
