O’s Notes: King Llama is billed as an experimental, fusion-influenced jam band. Guitarist, composer, bandleader Ryan T. Bailey takes us on a wild ride with help from bassist Anthony Crawford, guitarist Billy Paulsen, and drummer Luis Briones. Their latest release is Feta Implexis (fate intertwined), a collection of heavily syncopated songs, notably on “Lora Ky”, “Hamilton”, “Sir Isaac”, and our favorite “Bus Stop”. It’s electrifying.
