O’s Notes: Los Angeles-based vocalist, writer, producer Gina Kronstadt also played violin until a botched shoulder surgery left her with nerve damage in 2023. Feel Something is her fourth album as a leader rising in the fall of 2025. Gena lays contemporary vocals on top of spicy club rhythms with a polished band including John Beasley (p), Bob Sheppard (sax, fl), Gary Novak (d), Gabe Davis (b), Felipe Fraga (perc), Lisa Dondlinger (violin), and Stefanie Fife (cello). The themes are friendship and romance. We liked “Favorite”, “You Make Me Feel”, “Shine”, and “Spooky”.
