O’s Notes: Jeff Rupert is a well accomplished musician and professor at the UCF where he directs The Flying Horse Big Band. They’ve had top 10 releases in the past and Florida Rays is another winner featuring the songs of Ray Charles. Rob Paparozzi handles most vocals shining on “Let the Good Times Roll” and “It Should Have Been Me” with Vance Villastrigo. Khristian Dentley takes the mic to deliver a solid take of “Bein’ Green”. DaVonda Simmons follows on “Lonely Avenue” and mixes it up with Villastrigo on “What I Say”. Rupert’s team puts together a soulful collection that will appeal to a broad audience!
