O’s Notes: Frolic is the debut recording for guitarist Steve Gregory. He is a polished, LA-based session musician with decades of experience backing headliners and playing on TV and film soundtracks. His band is Jeff Babko (keyboards), Eric Sittner (b), and Ray Brinker (d). They fuse blues, pop, soul, and jazz into a warm set that has something to delight everyone without offending anyone along the way! Among the best are the cool “Hey Marvin”, the bluesy “Tell Me What You Feel”, the rocking “December 18”, and the funky “Smooth It Out”.
