O’s Notes: Guitarist Miguel Espinoza leads a band with harmonica player Howard Levy, violinist David Balakrishnan, and David Hagedorn on vibraphone for Gabriella. Priya Hariharan adds carnatic violin on “Joy” and Levy shines on “Howard’s Tune”. We also enjoyed “Whistlin’ Down the Street”, “Hudson Avenue”, the peaceful sway of “La Lluvia”, and the funky “Barrio Latino”.
