O’s Notes: This is the second release from the child prodigy, guitarist Julian Lage. He is now 23 and situated in New York City the Mecca for jazz. Lage shares the stage with Aristides Rivas (cello), Tupac Mantilla (perc), Jorge Roeder (b) and Dan Blake (sax). The music is centered on memories of different experiences brought to light by the fictitious title town. Julian plays a bit of Latin, some pop, country and even classical. But the predominant theme is electrifying jazz that will keep you engaged all the way. This cat has a wealth of talent and many years to go.
