O’s Notes: Guitarist/composer Dave Stryker expands to his trio to a quartet with Jared Gold on the B3, drummer McClenty Hunter, and saxophonist Bob Mintzer for Groove Street. They burn on “Summit”, swing on “Cold Duck”, and Mintzer leads the charge on “Straight Ahead”. Stryker is on point on “Code Blue” and does a fine job engaging his cohorts. These polished musicians bring a solid performance on Groove Street!
