O’s Notes: This is Bradley’s debut as a leader. He teams up with a tight group of musicians including pianist Mike Wofford and Jaime Valle on guitar to play six jazz standards. Some are Brazilian tunes like Jobim’s “Mojave” and “Fotografia” both very suitable for Leighton’s flute melodies. These songs are complimented by the cooler swing of “Groove Yard”, the Latin funk of “Doña Maria” and a relaxed cover of “Road Song”.
