O’s Notes: Guitarist Oz Noy plays rock fusion. He adds all types of effects to his guitar but the sound remains crisp. “Blue Monk” is the sole cover along with nine originals. Mike Stern sneaks into the fray on the funky “Downside Up” as they dual on one of highlights of the set. There are also more mellow tunes like “What Love Is” and the cool jitterbug beats of “Hit Me” (our favorite) but the bulk is electric fusion.
