O’s Notes: Pianist Calderazzo plays upbeat, bubbly tunes. He opens with “Bri’s Dance”. His left and right hands play counter beats and rhythms with very syncopated beats. This results in large presentation that seems to be much more than solo piano. It is followed by “Haiku”, a peaceful relaxed piece. “The Legend of Dan” is another bouncy tune. These are a sampling of the session, ten songs in total, mostly written by Calderazzo. We are most impressed with Joey’s well coordinated hands which are able to create many moods.
