O’s Notes: Adam Price is a clarinetist and educator with proficiency on many reed instruments. He assembles a core quartet with Isamu MacGregor (p), Jack Synoski (b) and Spencer Inch (d). Guest artists Jeff Hatcher (perc) and Kristina Rajgelj (vocals) provide additional depth and charm on several songs. We enjoyed the swinging groove of “Rotten Grapes” and the peaceful “Summer Thunder” featuring Rajgelj and Price. The music is mostly light bossa nova, some soft bop, and gentle ballads. Price surfaces as a prime time performer on“House Ghosts, a warm, ghostlike encounter.
