O’s Notes: How to Turn The Moon features pianists Angelica Sanchez (left channel) and Marilyn Crispell (right channel). The dueling pianos create a beautiful landscape that is suitable as background music, provocative, engaged listening, and at times, for relaxation/meditation or just collecting thoughts. The music is all original mostly by Sanchez with three collaborations. The bond between the musicians is special leading to a cooperative effort that brings out the best in both especially on the closer, “Fires In Space”.
