O’s Notes: Toronto based saxophonist Michael Massaro leads a sextet that includes Lou Bartolomucci (g, Keys), Dave Decarle (g) and Marco Luciani (keyboards). It’s all about sax and guitar on “Sassy”. “Island Dream” has a Caribbean flare with steel drums and a reggae beat. We also enjoyed “Treasure Chest” and the calypso vibe of “Cuba Libre”.
