O’s Notes: Susie has beautiful vocal tone that is accentuated by Ken Peplowski (cl) Larry McKenna (t-sax) and John Shana (t) who rotate through the spotlight leading the melodies. The rest of this Philly-based band is also first rate with Paul Meyers (g), John Shaddy (p), Lee Smith (b) and Byron Landham (d). But Susie won’t let you forget that she’s leading I Wish I Knew especially on the title track, “Alfie” and “You Go To My Head”.
